Daniel G. Yelverton
CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD Dan Yelverton has over 30 years of systems engineering and leadership experience in aerospace and government electronics research. A hands-on company president, Mr. Yelverton has participated in multiple Space and Tactical Programs from Concept Development through Field Integration. Focus areas have included tactical Information collection and display systems, as well as satellite command / control subsystems.
Prior to founding Aeronix, Mr. Yelverton was a Project Engineer at Harris Corporation Aerospace Division. At Harris he led development of the Navy's Satellite Payload Data Management Subsystem, the Hubble Telescope Fine Guidance Electronics, and the N-ROSS satellite tracking facility local area network. Mr. Yelverton was Principal Investigator for the Satellite Processing Technology IR&D on Fault Tolerant Processor and Data Transfer, and was also instrumental in the design of US Air Force Mil-Std-1553B LSI Chip Set, AGUSTA - A109/A129 Autopilot, Hubble Telescope Optical Telescope Assembly, Space Shuttle PCM Master Unit, and the Air Force B1 Electrical Multiplex System.
PRESIDENT Jeff Fisher has been with Aeronix since 1986 and has served on the Board of Directors since 2000. Before becoming President, Mr. Fisher served as the program manager on several large successful programs at Aeronix.
His expertise is with cryptographic and communication systems in aerospace, avionics, and ground applications. As President, Mr. Fisher utilizes his technical knowledge and proven leadership capabilities in leading Aeronix’s expanding business base by providing strategic leadership, determining product direction, promoting innovative corporate initiatives, and guiding proposal development.
Prior to joining the leadership team, Mr. Fisher was the chief engineer for Aeronix’s first spaceborne development, a fiber optic data bus. He later developed a space qualified IEEE-1394 “Firewire” chipset and an FPGA based cryptographic architecture for spaceborne applications. Project management experience includes integrating Aeronix’s LAW waveform into General Dynamic’s HMS radio platform and developing a cryptographic platform for SPAWAR’s JTRS waveform integration and test platform. Before joining Aeronix, Mr. Fisher developed control electronics and data processing hardware for the Hubble Space Telescope at Harris Corporation. Mr. Fisher enjoys running, fishing, scuba diving and snow skiing.
VICE PRESIDENT, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT Brian Brown joined Aeronix in 1998 to foster new business ventures and company growth. Mr. Brown’s background includes defense and commercial electronics product definition, design, manufacture , and fulfillment. Mr. Brown is currently responsible for generating partnership and business opportunities, and fostering relationships within the industry.
Prior to joining the Aeronix team, Mr. Brown held positions as Managing Director of the Computer Products Division for Cypress Semiconductor, Director of Operations Engineering for AT&T Global Information Solutions, and Director of Engineering PC and Server Products for NCR Corp. Mr. Brown began his career at Harris Corporation as a design engineer working with a number of the Aeronix team.
VICE PRESIDENT, RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT As Vice President of Research and Development, Mr. Iezzi leads a talented group of engineering professionals who design and develop electronics technology for Aeronix products and customers. Mr. Iezzi is active in all of Aeronix’s products as a consultant, engineering team lead and designer. Mr. Iezzi was a principal architect of the LAW waveform and the Software Defined Radio product line.
Mr. Iezzi has over thirty years of experience in communications systems development with a focus on high-speed processing, digital signal processing and RF communications targeted at ground, air and space applications.
Mr. Iezzi joined Aeronix in 1989. Prior to joining Aeronix, Mr. Iezzi was employed by RCA Government Systems, Harris Corporation and DBA Systems. Mr. Iezzi has BSEE degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA.
